Complete College Advising presents a list of featured scholarships to support your academic ambitions. I awarded $25 million dollars in scholarships over the last two decades. Based on that experience, I believe the scholarships below are worth your time!

Michigan Council of Women in Technology
Over 40 scholarships with an average amount of $4,400 each!

  • Eligibility:
  • Current Michigan resident
  • Female students with a GPA of 2.75 or better
  • Must be pursuing a tech-related degree for the 2024-25 academic year 
  • Enrolled (or will be enrolled) full-time in a Michigan college, community college or university 
  • Fields: Information Systems, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Digital Forensics, Cyber Security, and Data Science. This is not a complete list but rather serves to provide examples.
  • Requirements: Submit a compelling essay of 250 words.
  • Awards: Over 40 scholarships, average amount: $4,400 each!
  • Deadline: January 31, 2024

Hearts for Community Service Scholarship from Warrick Dunn Charities
Twenty $5,000 scholarships are available to student residents from: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin who volunteer in their communities.

  • Eligibility:
  • Have a minimum GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 grading scale (equivalent GED scores accepted)
  • Be of service as a volunteer in your local community
  • Attending or soon to be attending a post-secondary school, including associate, undergraduate, graduate, professional, or doctoral program
  • Be a resident of Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, or Wisconsin.
  • Awards: Twenty $5,000 scholarships
  • Deadline: July 31, 2024

Community Choice Credit Union Scholarships
The Community Choice Foundation offers $5,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors with the desire to attend college in Michigan AND $2,500 scholarships for students who are seeking vocational training or certification through accredited programs.

  • Eligibility:
  • Michigan resident
  • Desire to attend college in Michigan
  • **Not required to be a Community Choice Credit Union Member to apply
  • Award: Over 20 scholarships ranging from $2,500-$5000
  • Deadline: February 29, 2024
